What is Merchant ship?

Merchant ships are traveling machines or vessels useful in carrying and delivering cargos, loads, foods through the sea(water) From one place or country to another.

Let us now consider merchant ship as a vessel in view of a wife.

I would have loved to focus on all women but it downed on me some years ago that not all women will be a wife. You're a wife if you have an husband. Some women chose not to be a wife rather to be only a mother.

A wife is a vessel designed by God to bless and be a blessing to her husband and household.

In Gen 2:18, God sees that man(Adam) cannot by himself fulfil destiny alone without an helper. God then create a vessel called a wife(help meet) that will help him fulfil his assignment.

Let me quickly show you few reasons why a man will need a wife

1. He wants to be an husband

2. He wants to be a father

3. He wants to be responsible

4. He wants to be successful by fulfilling destiny

5. He wants to be complimented and hence independently be prosperous by the complement he receives from his wife.

Look at this:

Few things a woman should be to her husband.

1. Best Friend

2. Wife

3. Mother of Children

4. Prayer partner

5. Home maker and builder

6. Chief planner(men are executors)

7. Strength

8. Blessings

9. Help meet

10. Mother

Proverbs 31:14 says she is like a merchant ships

You need to know that

Merchant ships are not the fastest means of transporting goods from one area to another but they are the most Cost effective and Efficient transporting vessel for perishable goods like food.

Merchant ships can carry greater loads and use less energy and resources even than Jet airplanes.

For you as a wife to be cost effective here means producing good result without costing a lot of money. You've to bring out the best possible profits, advantages for the lowest possible cost. This is a act of management.

To be efficient here means achieving maximum productivity with minimum or no wasted effort or expenses. It as well means working in a well organized and competent way.

7 lessons every good and godly wife must learn from merchants ships.

1. Merchant ships must have a pilot.

A true Christian wife must have Jesus Christ as the pilot of her heart, home and life not in-laws, friends and external relatives.
